Isaiah 49:1-2

1 Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name. 2 He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Note that it was before Isaiah’s physical being was created in his mother’s womb, that a spiritual purpose was established. God had a specific purpose and for that specific purpose, he created this being. He created this being and identified him as Isaiah.

He equipped Isaiah, shielded him, refined him and protected him.

Such is specificity of calling that God has for each one of us and such is the manner in which he has equipped us, refined us and shielded us to accomplish His purpose. It surpasses all limitations and weaknesses of us humans. Surrender yourself and allow Him to accomplish His will through you. There’s a deep sense of peace and joy that follows it, when you surrender yourself and allow Him to accomplish His will through you.
