Ask and you shall Receive

John 16: 23-24

John 14: 12-14

Matthew 7: 7-11 “In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

We can see this same message in the Bible in John chapter 14 and Matthew chapter 7. Whenever you ask somebody why they never told you something do you recall hearing the reply, “YOU NEVER ASKED Me!!” When we worry about all our problems and look for solutions on our own when we seem lost, do we ever just ask God for help? Correction: Do we ask God the father in Jesus’ name? Sometimes all we want God to do is listen to our problems and worries, and we forget that our mighty God can actually help us overcome it all IF we ask in HIS NAME.

Jesus promises us that when we ask in His name, we will receive what we need from him, and with it we won’t just receive joy but our joy will be complete!

Be a believer who abides in the vine, and he will surely give you the fruits that come from abiding in him.
