Paper-bot was  the P413 Mob’s attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record for the Largest Paper Mache Sculpture. For those of you who were not there to witness the making of paperbot, well you probably missed out on a lot of fun!!

Though it was tiring having to work 9 days at a stretch, getting paperbot up and standing without any external support was as challenge. The team however carried on building, holding onto and being assured by Philippians 4:13.

Here is a list of some of the inputs that went into creating the world record breaking structure!!

  • 200 hours of working on the structure

  • 90 young people of whom 60-70 were new to CTC!! :D

  • Two tons of paper

  • Half a ton of glue

The end result…

Paper bot is 12 feet in width, 11 feet in length and 7.8 inches in height making it undeniable taller than the current record. It is a  solid paper Mache Structure with no support frame inside.

Looking back, we can clearly see that God was also actively involved in the construction of Paper-bot. For without him it would not have been possible. From the weather, to collecting the paper, to the physical strength and motivation, to getting to know a lot of new young people… God simply came through.

We’re delighted to say that this project was a success. All Glory to God!!!
